Meet Our Owners
Scout Cobb, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Scout spent the early part of her career assisting at risk students in a local school district. She went on to achieve her Master's in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has been working in ABA since 2012 and has been a BCBA since 2014. She has experience working with a variety of ages from 18 months to 25 years and has been a BCBA in both the clinical setting and in home. She specializes in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders and severe challenging behavior. She has also served as a director of several programs in addition to acting as a supervisor and mentor for the next generation of behavior analysts.
Sarah Cobb, B.S., M.Ed., RBT
Sarah taught in and around the Houston area from 2004 to 2020 gaining experience in early childhood education and has a passion for working with children that exhibit developmental disorders such as autism. Over the course of her teaching career, she has serviced students on 504 plans and worked diligently to implement Individual Education Plans (IEP). She has advocated positive outcomes for students through ARD meetings and collaboration with parents, school administrators, special education teams, school counselors and speech-language pathologists. Sarah has a strong desire to help children reach their full potential.
Meet Our Analysts
Tessa, B.A., M.A., BCBA, LBA
Tessa began her ABA career in 2018 as an RBT in the clinical setting. She quickly realized she wanted to become a BCBA and began her coursework through Ball State, during which she obtained graduate supervision under Scout for one year. She earned her Master’s degree in ABA in 2020 on top of her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While much of her experience is in the clinical setting, Tessa has worked with a variety of ages from 24 months to 14 years of age. Originally from Chicago, she enjoys time with friends and family and spending time outdoors biking and hiking.
Erin, M.S., BCBA, LBA, PEERS
When asked what she wanted to do in her future, young Erin said, “help people.” That desire to help others translated into a history of helping people struggling with mental illnesses and behavioral challenges. Erin has been in ABA since 2016 with 2 years of working specifically with children who have an autism diagnosis, Erin’s passion for helping others has found a home in the ABA field. As a BCBA at BBTX, Erin strives to facilitate positive changes for children and adolescents, as well as collaborate with their families, caregivers, technicians, and other providers to increase success. In her spare time, Erin enjoys hiking, kayaking, training her dogs, relaxing with friends and family, making YouTube videos (on ABA or kayaking), and increasing her skills to better help others.
Michelle, M.S., BCBA, LBA
Michelle has been in the field of ABA since 2015. She has a Bachelors of Science in Social Science and Masters of Arts in Behavioral Science. Michelle also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. In her free time, she can be found trying out new restaurants with her daughter, having nerf gun fights with her son, training 2 rambunctious puppies, cooking, shopping or taking a glorious nap.
Patricia, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Patricia entered high school, knowing that she wanted to focus on helping children and families of those with special needs. She is a certified special education teacher and completed her Master’s in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA. Patricia has been in ABA for 10 years, 6 of those as a BCBA. Her experiences range from working as a long-term substitute teacher, a home-bound teacher, a life skills teacher with a variety of ages and grades from pre-school through high school and in ABA in both the clinical and in-home settings. Patricia recently took up ballroom dancing and in her free time and also enjoys relaxing with friends, family, and her pets, as well as cooking, reading, and watching TV/movies.
Lakisha, M.S., M.A., BCBA, LBA
Lakisha is originally from Florida. She attended the University of Florida and later Florida State for her graduate work. In 2015, she moved to Houston, and began working toward her Masters’ in ABA at Ball State. She is our newest BCBA and is also currently working towards an Ed.D in Educational Psychology and Technology. She loves Harry Potter and Golden Girls (trivia challenges welcomed) and fills her weekends with lots of relaxing. She enjoys swimming when the weather permits, spending time with friends and family, and traveling or dreaming of where to travel.
We seek to hire the right therapist for every client. We take time to locate and hire a therapist to fit your child. In the center, your child will work with the entire therapy team on a rotational basis to aid in generalization of new skills.
